Power went out at lap 230 of the Iowa Indy race. Could someone please tell me what happened to Montoya?

Oh it was terrible, horrible! Carnage, blood and body parts everywhere. It was truly a nightmare. I get sick just thinking about it. Oh why God, why?

He went down to pass Ed Carpenter on the inside and Ed came down into him, sent him (JPM) into the wall. After he was cleared JPM said on TV "(Other drivers) say they promote safe racing but when you pass them, they turn into douchebags." After the race Ed said "I bet Montoya is pissed. I'm sure I will be seeing him in a second. I didn't mean to. I didn't know he was there." Looked to me like Ed intended to block but misjudged how close JPM was.

Thank you very much, Sir. That's too bad.

Sounds like Montoya still hadn't cooled down from that hilarious tantrum he threw in his second-to-last pit stop.

Montoya was not pleased, he stood in the middle of the track helmet in hand waiting for Ed to come around. He looked like he was going to toss his helmet at him but just did the arms out WTF pose.

Not sure about Montoya, but some naked guy ran out onto the track and started peeing on the security guards who were trying to catch him. Come to think of it, he looked quite a bit like Ray Wert.

I love the commentator's reaction (think it was Paul Tracy?):

"Don't worry, he's not going to throw his helmet, those new ones are the F1 style and cost $8 grand."

And yeah, that tantrum in the pits was hilarious. JPM is back in form and it's good to see someone colorful like that in Indycar besides AJ.

All in all, a pretty good oval race, even if Kanaan was leading almost the whole thing. Lot's of action behind him the whole time.

Also, I love this new trend of bringing Hobbs/Matchett over as a commentator from F1 - gives a nice outside perspective and some fun color to the broadcast.
